How can we support children in learning to consume media content critically and, in turn, create more inclusive media narratives themselves? A discussion within the framework of the “School of No Bias” program.

The new cycle of the programme “School of No Bias”, called “What do the media and advertising really say about gender roles?”, aims to strengthen students’ media literacy, enhance educators’ skills so they can impart this knowledge to children, and raise awareness among media professionals about the perpetuation of gender stereotypes in media content.

The workshop will take place online on Wednesday, May 27, from 17:00 to 19:00, allowing educators from across Greece to attend.

WHEN, in partnership with Always, a Procter & Gamble brand, is organizing a specially designed workshop for school teachers as part of the #StopPeriodShaming initiative, which aims to combat the menstrual stigma.

It is with great pleasure that the WHEN announces that the program “The school of no bias – everyone strong, everyone equal” starts its journey!

It is a training and networking program for teachers of primary and secondary education, and school career counselors who want to learn new ways to bring gender equality closer to their classrooms and the educational process.

On November 23rd, we are launching the second cycle of the School of No Bias program with an online skills development workshop for teachers to make STEM-related fields more attractive and accessible to girls from different socio-economic backgrounds, organized by WHEN, with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Athens.

As part of the second cycle of the program, 10 workshops will be implemented in primary and secondary schools for the prevention of gender stereotypes in everyday life and professional orientation.
