
Transparency & Equality in payments: How do the new Directives apply to businesses and organizations?

On June 16, 18 & 23, 9:00-11:00, WHEN is organizing 3 free standalone online workshops on the effective implementation of Directive (EU) 2023/970 on transparency and equality in payments.The seminars are addressed to employers and executives (business owners, Human Resources managers, Compliance officers, Finance and Data Management professionals, team leaders, and other senior staff) from companies and organizations with more than 250 employees and their aim is to enhance the knowledge and skills participants will need in order to achieve meaningful compliance within their organizations with the new regulation that will come into force in Greece in June 2026.
The seminars are standalone, practical, and interactive, and will focus on the following topics:
- Theoretical and regulatory framework of pay transparency
- Key concepts and principles of pay equity
- How can transparency be achieved in practice?
- Tackling stereotypes and unconscious biases
- Gender-neutral job evaluation and classification
- Skills gap management and workforce development

The first seminar will focus on the practical implications of the new legislation and the steps organizations need to take to achieve compliance.
Thursday, 18 June | 9:00–11:00 AM | Online
The second seminar will focus on specific processes and practices, including gender-neutral job evaluation and the collection and analysis of pay data.
Tuesday, 23 June | 9:00–11:00 AM | Online
The third seminar will focus on key practices related to equal treatment, transparent communication, and inclusion. It will support organizations in fostering a culture of equality and transparency that enables them to close their gender pay gap and sustain this balance over the long term.
The seminars are implemented within the framework of the FAIR PAY project, which is implemented by the General Secretariat for Equality and Human Rights (GSHE) as the coordinating body with partners including the Research Centre for Gender Equality (KETHI), WHEN Equity Empowerment Change (WHEN), and the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Greece (SEGE). The Project is co-funded by Greece and the European Union through the “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values” (CERV) Programme.
