This research, which focuses on the empowerment of women entrepreneurs in hospitality, is a synthesis of the challenges, solutions, facilitators and obstacles shared by the women entrepreneurs who participated in the focus groups of WHEN’s Female Founders Hub @ Hospitality program, supported by Olympic Brewery.
The discussions we had with them had a dual goal: Understanding the daily difficulties faced by women of different age groups and geographical regions who manage small and medium-sized businesses in the field, and highlighting the needs of women and recording proposals for solutions, with an emphasis on training needs that can support their professional empowerment and the development of their business activity.
The use of these findings can be a valuable tool for the creation of targeted actions to empower and further develop the entrepreneurial activity of women who manage small and medium-sized enterprises in the HORECA sector.
