Scenario… what an idea!
WHEN, in collaboration with WHEN Hub and with the support of the Estée Lauder Emerging Leaders Fund and Vital Voices, is delighted to announce the launch of the program “A room of their own”, designed to empower emerging and underrepresented women writers in Greece. The program focuses on education, networking, and visibility for women creators, fostering an inclusive literary community that amplifies women’s voices and promotes equality through the power of storytelling. As part of the program, five in-person and online Masterclasses will be held with acclaimed Greek (and international!) women writers, where participants will develop their creative writing skills.
Masterclass #4, with Glykeria Patramani

Together, we will follow the journey of an idea from the page to the big screen, explore the power of words to generate images, discuss co-creation in the art of filmmaking, and seek inspiration from unexpected sources.
Glykeria Patramani is a screenwriter based in Athens. She studied History, Archaeology, and Theatre in Greece and France. Her films have been screened and awarded internationally (Clermont IFF, Cinekid, Palm Springs IFF, Diagonale, Sarajevo IFF, among others). In 2025, she published her first short story collection, titled Hosafi.

The program “A room of their own” aspires to become a point of reference for literature in Greece-as a tool for social change, feminist action, and the empowerment of women. Through this initiative, WHEN continues its mission to promote equality, empowerment, and feminist leadership, this time through literature, imagination, and the stories of the very women who are changing the world around them.
