2025 was a year of change, transition, and growth for WHEN – a year that marked the organization’s move into a new, more mature phase. With a new name, a new space that came to life through people and activities, and a growing, strengthened team, WHEN continued to build communities of care, empowerment, and connection across Greece.
Through its programs, events, collaborations, and everyday encounters at the WHEN Hub, we met women, girls, and gender-diverse people from different parts of the country, listened to their stories and needs, and exchanged experiences, inspiration, and solidarity. At the same time, we saw our own small community grow: new people joined the team, new ideas emerged, and many of them found their way into action.
This year was not only filled with activity, but also with questions, concerns, and expectations about how we can continue to remain useful, create meaningful social impact, and support even more women and gender-diverse people in their next professional steps.
Looking ahead to 2026, WHEN continues with steady momentum, exploring new themes that are emerging as critical for gender equality in Greece: care, economic violence, connection with women in the Greek regions, and the role of art as a tool for social change. With more collaborations, more gatherings, and an even more open circle, we continue building together a world of equality and inclusion.
