Venia Soubenioti works in the field of European projects as a Project Manager and Proposal Writer, designing and developing partnerships with organisations, educational institutions, businesses and civil society actors across Europe.
She is the Founder and President of EQUITERRA, a Larissa-based organisation established with a focus on equality, education and sustainability. Through EQUITERRA’s work, she designs and implements initiatives that bring communities closer together, with a particular emphasis on experiential activities for women, parents, children and families. She is also the Co-founder of RMR P.C., a company operating in the fields of logistics, hazardous materials and waste management, the circular economy, and research and innovation. Through her entrepreneurial activities, she contributes to the development of new partnerships and European projects that connect entrepreneurship with innovation and sustainable development. She holds a degree in English Language and Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s degree in Women, Gender & Society from University College Dublin.
She strongly believes in the power of communities and meaningful partnerships as drivers of empowerment, connection and greater opportunities for women. Through her involvement in the WHEN Larissa Community, she aims to contribute to building an open and supportive network where women in the city can come together, share experiences, grow and develop new collaborations.
