#WHENsdays at the Hub | The economic dimension of gender inequality
As part of the #WHENsdays series, we invite you to the WHEN Hub on May 20 at 18:00 for an open discussion focusing on the economic dimension of gender (in)equality and the many ways it affects our lives, organizations, and societies.
- What is the actual cost of women’s unequal participation in the workforce and in decision-making positions?
- What is the economic beyond the social and human impact of gender-based violence?
- How different could reality be if equal access and inclusion functioned as levers of development and not as constraints?
- And finally, what are the arguments we need to highlight when demanding resources, policies and practices that empower women and femininity?
Through an open and participatory dialogue, we will attempt to explore these and many more questions with the contribution of distinguished speakers and, of course, with your presence and participation.
