An event by WHEN as part of the European GatE project

How can women access education and training opportunities, enter the green energy sector and advance their careers? And what needs to change in the education system and the labour market to ensure equal opportunities for participation and professional development?

WHEN invites you to an open event as part of the European GatE project, aiming to highlight strategies and practices that can contribute to a more inclusive educational and professional environment in the green energy and technology sectors.

Through the presentation of findings from the GatE Gender-Responsive Blueprint, a discussion with representatives from education, academia and the energy industry, and audience participation, we will explore:

  • How can curricula be designed to attract and support more women?
  • Which inclusive teaching practices can help ensure equal participation?
  • How can collaboration between educational institutions, businesses and policymakers be strengthened?
  • Which initiatives and policies can facilitate women’s access to education and career opportunities in the green energy sector?

The event is aimed at female students pursuing studies related to renewable energy sources (RES), energy or technology, energy sector professionals, company or organisation representatives, and representatives of educational institutions, civil society organisations or policymaking bodies.

Your participation will help shape ideas and recommendations for a more inclusive future in green energy.
