Stella Kasdagli
Co-founder, Head of Research Programmes & Strategic Partnerships
Stella Kasdagli is a co-founder of WHEN and the Head of Research Programmes and Strategic Partnerships for the organisation. She is also a writer, translator, and trainer for adolescents and adults. She studied French Literature in Athens and Media Theory in London and worked as an editor at Cosmopolitan Magazine for a number of years, while also working with other Greek and English publications and websites. She now designs and implements actions to eliminate the obstacles that women are still facing in the workplace. She writes about issues she would like to see debated more, translates books, and moderates book clubs and workshops promoting personal growth and social change. She is a graduate of the US State Department IVLP programme, has been honoured with the Social Impact UK Alumni Award and her books, koilitsa.com, I just wanted to fit it, the Princess Athena series, and 30 Women Who Changed the World (and how you can change it, too) were published by Patakis Editions (in Greek). She has two daughters, and is growing up alongside them in Athens.

Pinelopi Theodorakakou
Co-founder, Head of Empowerment Programmes and Training Interventions
Pinelopi is the co-founder and Head of Training, Empowerment and Awareness of WHEN. WHEN, a non-profit organisation in Greece for the professional and financial development of women and for gender equality in the public sphere, as well as an entrepreneurial & career coach for women and young girls. She studied Media Studies at the University of Sussex, continued with her postgraduate studies at the Communications & Public Relations Department of the University of Westminster in London, and worked for 15 years in the Communication and Public Relations field. Now, as a gender expert and in her role in WHEN, she is leading the team by designing, implementing, and monitoring all training, empowerment, and gender awareness initiatives. Certified as a Playing Big and Generate Your Business facilitator by the International Labour Organization, she is also a member of the Feminist Leadership Hub Community Advisory Body and the Judging Committee of the Greek DEI Awards 2024.She is also a facilitator of workshops on gender issues, social change, the development of social-emotional skills, and female entrepreneurship. Her vision is to support individuals, teams, and organizations in the most meaningful and impactful way.

Galini Iliopoulou
Co-founder, Occupational Psychologist
Galini Iliopoulou is an Occupational Psychologist (MSc in Occupational & Organisational Psychology, University of Surrey, Degree in Psychology, Athens University), and works as a Senior Consultant on Human Resource issues at the consultancy firm ICAP. In the past, she has held similar positions at the consultancy companies HayGroup and SHLHellas. She recently completed her training in business coaching (Triple Certification in Coaching, ICPS). She has extensive experience in employee and executive evaluation and development.

Rosa Vassilatu
Communications Manager
Rosa studied Communication and Media at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, and completed her MA in Gender Studies with distinction at the University of Sussex. With 14 years of experience in the field of Communication and Culture, she has collaborated with οrganizations such as Generation 2.0 for Rights, Equality & Diversity, We Are Solomon, and Athens Biennale, and she has also worked on numerous projects within and outside the humanitarian sector.
Her interest in gender issues was cultivated through her connection with feminist communities and strengthened by her participation in intersectional initiatives. She is constantly on the lookout for trainings to acquire the tools that will help her fulfill her vision for a more equal world. With WHEN, she aims to actively participate in women’s empowerment, and spread the message of inclusivity in Greece and beyond.

Vasia Aletra
Project Coordinator
Vasia is a Project Coordinator at WHEN. She holds a degree from the Department of Biological Applications and Technology at the University of Ioannina and a Master’s Degree in Science, Technology and Society Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a focus on the intersection of Science and Gender. She is the creator of the HER Academia podcast, which explores scientific issues through a feminist lens and has been awarded funding by the British Council.
With four years of experience providing career counseling services, she has participated as a speaker in career days and online seminars focused on professional empowerment. She also has extensive volunteer experience in gender equality initiatives, including the Womentors program, where she contributed to the professional and financial empowerment of women. Additionally, she has spoken at the WOW Athens Festival on the topic of mansplaining in science and has moderated a panel on ecofeminism.
At WHEN, her goal is to contribute to the team’s vision and work toward a world where every woman and every girl has the opportunity to become who she can and wants to be.

Antigoni Zachopoulou
Assistant Project Coordinator
Antigoni is Assistant Project Coordinator at WHEN. She has completed studies in Social Anthropology at Panteion University and has pursued postgraduate studies in Gender Studies at the Hellenic Open University, deepening her understanding of the aspects of gender inequality.
Her passion for the professional empowerment of women and her desire to make a positive contribution to the community led her to choose the WHEN organization. She began her collaboration there as a volunteer in 2023, and during her six-month volunteer work, she participated in research projects that supported the organization’s goals.
She was then thrilled to accept the offer to join the WHEN team, eager to continue her personal and professional development in this dynamic environment. Antigoni believes in the power of collective action and is determined to contribute to the dismantling of gender inequalities.

Ioanna Panagaki
Career Counsellor
Ioanna Panagaki completed her undergraduate studies at the Department of International, European, and Regional Studies at Panteion University. She then participated in the “Specialization Program in Counseling and Career Guidance” at ASPAITE and recently graduated from the Master’s Program in “Adult Education” at the Hellenic Open University. Since 2018, she has been volunteering in Erasmus+ and Erasmus Studying Abroad programs.
Over the past two years, she has been working in the field of Civil Society, specializing in Vocational Education and Training for Adults, as well as Employment Counseling for socially vulnerable groups. She is also a founding member of the Non-Profit Scientific Association “SYNERGASIA.”
At WHEN, she coordinates and implements the “Career Counselor” program for women belonging to socially marginalized groups.
