Why & why don\u2019t we write? An ode to restrictive thoughts!<\/strong><\/p>\n

WHEN<\/strong>, in collaboration with WHEN Hub<\/strong> and with the support of the Est\u00e9e Lauder Emerging Leaders Fund<\/strong> and Vital Voices<\/strong>, is delighted to announce the launch of the program \u201cA room of their own<\/a><\/strong>\u201d, designed to empower emerging and underrepresented women writers in Greece. The program focuses on education, networking, and visibility for women creators, fostering an inclusive literary community that amplifies women\u2019s voices and promotes equality through the power of storytelling. As part of the program, five in-person and online Masterclasses<\/a><\/strong> will be held with acclaimed Greek (and international!) women writers, where participants will develop their creative writing skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Guided by the work of Julia Cameron and grounded in Carl Jung\u2019s Shadow Theory, this Masterclass explores how creative writing can function as a tool for identifying, deconstructing, and reframing internal narratives that shape women\u2019s voice, self-image, and expression.<\/p>\n

Viviana Miliaresi<\/strong> is the founder of There\u2019s A STORY<\/a><\/strong>, where she designs and delivers Creative Writing workshops for children and adolescents. She is a teacher of British and American Literature at Byron College. She is a graduate of the Department of Communication, Media and Culture (Panteion University) and holds a master\u2019s degree in Writing and Digital Media (Goldsmiths, University of London) as well as in Education (PGCE, NITE).<\/p>\n
