{"id":36766,"date":"2025-04-24T14:39:18","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T11:39:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/when.org.gr\/?post_type=nvm_events&#038;p=36766"},"modified":"2025-04-24T14:45:28","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T11:45:28","slug":"economy-class-financial-literacy-training-program-3","status":"publish","type":"nvm_events","link":"https:\/\/when.org.gr\/en\/events\/economy-class-financial-literacy-training-program-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Economy Class | Financial Literacy Training Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"text\">\n    <h6>Economy Class<\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The non-profit organization <strong>WHEN<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alpha.gr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alpha Bank<\/a> are organizing, as part of the social responsibility initiative <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alphaholdings.gr\/en\/Holdings\/esg-and-sustainability\/all-our-esg-initiatives\/iqonomy-financial-intelligence-for-all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IQonomy<\/a>, the new series of the free training program \u201cEconomy Class\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>9-month training course<\/strong> is aimed at women over 18 years of age and aims to <strong>develop<\/strong> their financial resilience, <strong>familiarize<\/strong> them with basic principles of financial literacy and develop the <strong>skills<\/strong> that will help them manage their financial future with confidence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through <strong>monthly interactive workshops<\/strong> and <strong>breakout group meetings<\/strong>, participants will be exposed to practical tools and targeted activities, and learn to better <strong>organize<\/strong> their finances, <strong>save<\/strong> sustainably, <strong>increase<\/strong> their income and reduce expenses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They will also become familiar with the importance of<strong> long-term financial planning<\/strong> and fundamentals of investing, and explore ways in which they can communicate and <strong>negotiate more effectively<\/strong> about financial matters with those around them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The workshops will be delivered by <a href=\"https:\/\/when.org.gr\/en\/financial-literacy-guide-for-trainers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>experienced WHEN trainers<\/strong><\/a>, and will include <a href=\"https:\/\/when.org.gr\/en\/financial-literacy-guide-for-trainees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">valuable material<\/a> developed by the organization to strengthen women\u2019s financial resilience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here is the schedule of the seminars, which will take place <strong>online<\/strong>, <strong>one Wednesday a month, until February 2026<\/strong>. In the previous cycle, 64% of participants reported an increase in their confidence when making a financial decision about themselves and\/or their family.
