Starting on 3-6\/10, a new set of valuable seminars of professional empowerment is coming to Thessaloniki, from WHEN with the support of Dixan.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

WHEN\u2019s Skills Camp Thessaloniki is a series of workshops for professional (and not only) empowerment, that will help you bring your best self to work and make it easier to deal with the changes you are wish to make in your career: to find a job, to find another position, to earn more money, to have more free time, to take a new step in your career, to build your teams confidence, to make your daily routine calmer, more productive and more pleasant.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

But it doesn\u2019t end here: it is also an opportunity to make connections, to find inspiration and support from a community of women who are always looking for the best \u2013 and all this without having to find an answer to the hard question \u201cBut where will I leave the kids?\u201d (if you have any). At WHEN we believe that children and parents can and deserve to develop side by side: this is why we seek to keep the little ones (aged 2-12) occupied for however long their mum is improving her (but also theirs) potentials.<\/p>\n

We have seen the most amazing results in women who decide to invest in one or two weeks in their professional and personal education and empowerment. Giving yourself the message that you are set to make the change, in combination with the fact that you are daily in the presence of women with similar goals, dreams and needs as you, you will finally win an experience of transformation.<\/p>\n

18.30-20.30 | The voice of your internal judge: Dealing with restrictive beliefs & taking control of your life \u05c0 Pinelopi Theodorakou<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>This workshop\u2019s goal is to discover what exactly our internal judge really is, what its role is and what we can do in order to deal with its restrictive thoughts that discourage and keep us from making our dreams come true. At the end of this workshop you will have learnt, through simple exercises: to recognize the voice of you internal judge, ways to familiarize yourself with it, work with it and deal with it so that you can live your life as you have imagined it, with more confidence and certainty.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>16.00-18.00 | How to finance your business plan \u05c0 Agni Pagouni<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>The goal of this workshop is for its participants to get a general idea around different ways in which they could finance their business idea. Do you plan on taking you next business step soon? Do you have enough money for this? If not, do you know the ideal financial options in order to start? If you have already started your business, can you access financial assistance? At the end of this seminar you will have a clear image of how you access programs through which you can financially support your business.<\/p>\n

18.30-20.30 | Making stress your ally \u05c0 Malvina Manasi<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>If we look at the etymology of the word \u2018stress\u2019 we will find \u2018constraining or compelling force or pressure\u2019 and to \u2018restrain, or confine\u2019. This is exactly what we do to our body when we get stressed. We contract our muscles, reducing blood flow, we allow our breath to become shallower and these reactions have so many consequences on our health and our mental health, on how we behave around others and how effective we are at getting things done. In this interactive workshop we will deal with stress together, we look at what it means for each and every one of us, we will reenact it, we will understand it and we will look into ways that can help us relax based on gestalt therapy and through yoga, both of which help with our health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>10.00-12.00 | How to network and build your professional image through the internet but also in person \u05c0 Stella Kasdagli<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>Even if you are aware of the value a broad and powerful social network has and on which you can count on for every business step, there are many obstacles that you may feel are blocking you way towards it. You may not know where to begin or the idea of talking to people you don\u2019t know may feel scary. Maybe you are ashamed and believe that everyone else is better than you or you may just not have the time to do everything that you think is needed in order to form a network. In this workshop you will get the tools you need to face all these restrictions and create a powerful social network that will completely change your professional (and maybe even your personal) life. You will also learn how to present yourself and your work through the internet, how to make good use of the digital world in order to establish yourself as an expert in your field and how you can avoid mistakes that will harm the impression others may have of you.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>In a time when we are all looking for a way to give something different and to be different, have you thought that for your business that something special is actually yourself with all your characteristics? In other worlds, that which you consider your second nature, your Passion? In this workshop we will discover together: What do Competitive Advantage and the Value of a business mean? How can these values help us? How can we make every business idea unique through our own Competitive Advantage and the Value that only we can bring to the market? \n<\/strong>10.00-12.00 | How to make presentations that everyone will remember and how to talk in front of an audience without (too much) stress \u05c0 Giota Zografaki<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>\u2018I don\u2019t enjoy talking in front of an audience\u2019 is one of those phrases we hear (or say) quite often. Still, we are often asked to present ideas, studies and projects to either small or bigger audiences. The \u2018fear of the stage\u2019 can be minimized if we are correctly prepared; if we feel confident with what we are about to say and with the way we present it. Some of the questions we will answer during this seminar are:<\/p>\n

– What does a good presentation entail? What mistakes should I avoid as I am preparing it?
\n– What can I do in order to minimize the chances of losing it in front of an audience?
\n– What techniques can I follow in order for my speech to flow nicely and come across as interesting?
\n– How can I use this chance to show my knowledge and my professional self, without losing who I am deep down?<\/p>\n
