WHEN, in collaboration with ActionAid, organizes free online training seminars as part of the Safe at Work program, to prevent and combat sexual harassment in the workplace. The seminars are addressed to human resources executives, members of business and organization management, but also to executives of any department dealing with the cultivation of a culture of safety and respect in the workplace.<\/p>\n

Each seminar will cover the following 4 topics, which are closely related to companies’ legal obligations to address sexual harassment at work.<\/p>\n

  1. RISK ASSESSMENT<\/strong>
    \nHow can a business assess the risks that exist within and which increase the chances of sexual harassment and violence occurring<\/li>\n
  2. PREVENTION
    \n<\/strong>What are the policies that companies are required to design in order to prevent incidents of sexual harassment and violence, protecting male and female employees, partners, customers and suppliers.<\/li>\n
  3. RESPONCE
    \n<\/strong>The necessary procedures that businesses must follow for the safe reporting and transparent and reliable management of incidents of sexual harassment and violence that fall within their sphere of responsibility.<\/li>\n
  4. AWARENESS-RAISING<\/strong>
    \nActions that will raise awareness for the company’s staff in relation to the phenomenon of sexual harassment, will educate individuals in ways that can contribute to its prevention and treatment, and will inform all parties involved about the corresponding procedures and policies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Participation is free and the call is addressed to human resources executives, members of business and organization management.

    The \u201cSafe at Work\u201d project is implemented within the framework of the Active citizens fund program, with ActionAid as the implementing body and the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences Research Committee, WHEN, the Human Resources Management Association of Greece and DATAWO as partners.<\/em><\/p>\n

    The Active citizens fund program, amounting to \u20ac13.5 million, is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and is part of the financial mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) for the period 2014 \u2013 2021, known as EEA Grants. The program aims to strengthen and strengthen the sustainability of civil society and to highlight its role in promoting democratic processes, strengthening citizens\u2019 participation in society and defending human rights. The management of the grant of the Active citizens fund program for Greece has been undertaken jointly by the Bodosaki Foundation and Solidarity Now.
