{"id":33822,"date":"2023-01-11T15:35:42","date_gmt":"2023-01-11T13:35:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/when.org.gr\/?post_type=nvm_events&#038;p=33822"},"modified":"2024-07-11T15:05:48","modified_gmt":"2024-07-11T12:05:48","slug":"the-school-of-no-bias-sets-off","status":"publish","type":"nvm_events","link":"https:\/\/when.org.gr\/en\/events\/the-school-of-no-bias-sets-off\/","title":{"rendered":"The \"School of No Bias\" sets off!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"text\">\n    <p>It is with great pleasure that the WHEN announces that the program \u201cThe school of no bias \u2013 everyone strong, everyone equal\u201d starts its journey!<\/p>\n<p>It is a training and networking program for teachers of primary and secondary education, and school career counselors who want to learn new ways to bring gender equality closer to their classrooms and the educational process.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program aims to address three main challenges concerning girls and young women in Greece, which are documented by academic research and by the experience of WHEN.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kethi.gr\/sites\/default\/files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/159_FYLO_SXOLIKI_PRAGMATIKOTITA.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The differences in the treatment between boys &amp; Everyone strong, everyone equal&#8221; is implemented in the framework of the Active citizens fund program, with WHEN as the implementing body and Sociality and Openous as partners.<br \/>\nThe Active citizens fund program, amounting to \u20ac13.5 million, is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and is part of the financial mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) for the period 2014 \u2013 2021, known as EEA Grants. The program aims to strengthen and strengthen the sustainability of civil society and to highlight its role in promoting democratic processes, strengthening citizens&#8217; participation in society and defending human rights.
